AIDAN’s life has thrown him lemons – his father killed his mother then himself, he’s left with the stigma of being a bad luck child. He hates his parents for this and he leaves the town where he grew up in an attempt to escape his past.
Coming from a small Scottish town and never having had any people in his life, AIDAN doesn’t know the etiquette in maintaining relationships or approaching things in life. He receives well intended but rubbish advice from BRETT that can result in comedic consequences when AIDAN gets it wrong, which he does, with stories emerging from the errors. It’s all trial and error – he’s far from perfect.
However everything that AIDAN knows is a lie. Starting university in London, AIDAN is oblivious to the fact that his neighbour, landlord and even the dean of his university are part of an elaborate plan designed to protect his identity and prevent him from knowing the truth.
Wanting to do what’s right, AIDAN accidentally gets himself embroiled with saving people and meets the SAVIOUR, the ‘hero of the city’ that everyone loves. AIDAN accidentally discovers that everything is not as it seems when it comes to the SAVIOUR, who in reality runs all of the organised crime in the city.
Who is going to stop the SAVIOUR? Everyone loves the SAVIOUR who twists things to make it look like AIDAN is the villain. Whilst he is much less powerful, time and time again, AIDAN throws himself on the line and slowly begins to win over the city.
Afterall, the city deserves a real hero.
